Eric M. Jump, DO

Dr. Jump was born in Fort Wayne, IN. and grew up in Palm Springs, CA. and Guam, the Mariana Islands.

After college, he obtained his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, MO. Dr. Jump also holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from Loma Linda University with an interest in preventive medicine. Dr. Jump completed his pediatric residency through the University of Florida, Jacksonville’s Health Education Program at University Hospital, Wolfson Children’s Hospital and Nemours Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Jump moved to Palatka in 1986 and began treating children in Palatka and Hastings for a local clinic. Dr. Jump partnered with Dr. Hoss to open Kids Care Pediatrics in 1990.

Dr. Jump has been instrumental in bringing the Community Garden concept to Putnam County. He is also a strong advocate of promoting the significant health benefits of Breastfeeding. His special interests include sculling, swimming, bicycling, gardening and traveling (especially France!).
