Kids’ Care Pediatrics files claims to hundreds of health insurance companies. It would be impossible to provide an accurate, updated list because we’re constantly adding new plans.
We do have contractual relationships with the following nine health insurance entities:
- Aetna
- Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida
- Cigna
- Clear Health Alliance
- Florida Medicaid
- Humana
- Molina Healthcare
- Simply Healthcare
- Sunshine Health
- United Healthcare
- WellCare/StayWell
Please contact our office, in advance of your visit, to confirm compatibility of your child’s health insurance coverage with Kids Care Pediatrics’ providers. Chances are pretty good we’re an approved provider for your insurance plan.
Payment
After your child receives his/her professional services from our healthcare providers, uninsured families will be required to pay the full amount of our charges and insured families will be required to pay their contracted portion. This could be the full amount of our charges if the health plan indicates your child’s deducible has not been met. Then again, your payment may be the 10 to 50 percent coinsurance your plan may require or it might be the $10.00 to $50.00 co-pay required per visit. Please review your health insurance contract so you’ll be prepared at time of check out.
Acceptable methods of payment include cash, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Once payment is rendered, you will receive an itemized statement and we will then send your health insurance claim to your carrier for processing.
